Images, Words and People: The Art of Naina Dalal (Contemporary Indian Printmaker)

Guest of Honour Honourable Chancellor of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda Rajmata Shubangini Raje Gaekwad will grace the opening of the exhibition and book launch.

A solo exhibition of printmaking and book launch of veteran artist Naina Dalal, alumni of the Faculty of Fine Arts is being organized after a long hiatus in Vadodara. Some rare and unseen lithographs, etchings and woodcuts by the artist who has pursued printmaking since 1960s will be on view. Trained at premier art institutions in Baroda, London and New York, Naina continues to express indefatigably through the medium of printmaking.

“Art of Naina Dalal: Contemporary Indian Printmaker” – A major monograph on her print ouvre will be launched.

Curated by Dr. Gauri Parimoo Krishnan and Prof. Nuzhat Kazmi.
