NAARI – Workshops Dedicated to Women

Hello and Welcome to Kala Kollective. NAARI is a set of workshops dedicated to all the beautiful women out there. 3 days, 3 workshops, lots of learning and unlimited fun guaranteed! Workshops are from 20th April – 22nd April. Here’s our first one, Shibori Tie and Dye, one of the first and authentic Tie and Dye workshops in Pune.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Shibori is the Japanese manual resist dyeing technique, which produces patterns on fabric. A technique typically consists of folding, twisting, pleating a garment and binding with a string or rubber bands, followed by application of dyes.

In this workshop, we will learn and try all the different kinds of methods and techniques like Kumo, Arashi and Itajime, etc. Practice on cotton fabrics and make your statement scarf and tshirt!

WHO CAN JOIN?
Anybody above the age of 10
